Organised by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong, Czech Centres, Mowshe and Typo with Wyndham Social as Venue Partner, Identita: The Story of Czech Graphic Design takes the audience on a journey to explore a Central European cultural community that has undergone significant social and political transformations, reflecting on its century-long evolution in visual design.
The exhibition, brought to Hong Kong as part of the Year of Czech Design 2025, showcases the very best of Czech graphic design history, where aesthetic excellence, technical precision, craftsmanship, and functionality converge. Visitors will encounter works spanning from the early 20th century to the present day, including iconic posters, masterfully designed books and magazines, a wide array of logotypes, the evolution of state symbols and navigation systems, and standout examples from the era of audiovisual media. A special highlight is the latest 60th anniversary edition of The Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year 2024.
